University of Calcutta Provides Digitally Empowered Learning Platform

Ever since its inception, the University of Calcutta has been committed to supporting the teaching-learning and research activities of its academic and scholarly community with the best learning resources. Its state of the art library system houses an enviable collection of books, journals, theses, reports, etc., to cater to the learning needs of its users for years. Keeping pace with the technological advancement, the University has been embracing digital technologies for making its resources more accessible to all. Our continuous effort for digital preservation of learning resources will ensure improved resource utilization and seamless access to information for University stakeholders.  

At Calcutta University, we aim to improve the online learning experience by curating and organising our e-learning resources. We have created an INFLIBNET facility to enable our research scholars to submit their theses for similarity checking and enable our academic community to maintain academic integrity. By accessing the Calcutta University Digital Library, students can discover a range of resources starting from online catalogues of library resources to full text collections of theses, ebooks, e-journals, digitised resources and many more. Through our digital initiative, we intend to make learning more accessible, affordable, inspirational, and enjoyable.
